    We teach all styles, from rock, pop and jazz to country, blues and classical. Most of the Lesson Books focus on Classical music as a base. We also use supplemental books, where students can select from a wide range such as: Disney, Hits, Popular, Favorites, Classics, Jazz & Blues, Rock ‘n Roll, Ragtime & Marches, Hymns, Kids’ Songs, Christmas, and Jewish Favorites.
  • What will I learn from piano lessons at Paz Music?
    Whether you want to learn traditional classical music or modern Pop music, our teachers are dedicated to helping you become the pianist you want to be. They will show you the fundamentals of sight reading, technique and theory, and incorporate your favorite songs into your lessons.
  • Do I have to know how to read music?
    No, beginners are welcome. But you will learn how to read, write and play your instrument.

  • Do I need a big piano at home to learn the instrument?
    No, you do not need a big piano at home to take lessons. A simple electronic keyboard with the following specs will suffice to get started. Your keyboard should have -full sized keys -at least 61 keys -touch sensitive (preferred) We also carry keyboards in stock which are appropriate for beginners as well as bundles which include the keyboard, a stand for the keyboard, and headphones.
  • What styles of Guitar do you teach?
    We teach all styles, from rock, pop, jazz, and blues to metal, country and classical guitar – on electric, acoustic and classical guitars.
  • What will I learn from guitar lessons at Paz Music?
    Beginner guitar students can expect to work on chords, simple songs and melodies, sight reading and music theory. Our instructors balance musicianship and fun by making sure that each lesson presents a new technical challenges or theory concept, and ends with something fun, such as your favorite riff or song.

    Yes, to practice at home, you will need a guitar. A simple beginner guitar will do the trick. We offer a variety of guitars appropriate for beginners, starting at just $89.00. We sell electric, acoustic and classical guitars for beginners.
  • What styles of Violin do you teach?
    We teach all styles, although most violin beginner teachings are based on classical music we also teach addtional genres such as Popular, and Favorites.

  • Do I need to purchase a violin in order to take lessons?
    Yes, to practice at home and to bring to your lessons, you will need a violin. A simple beginner violin will do the trick. If you do not have one already We offer a great beginner violin that includes a bow and a case for only $124.99.
